Responsibilities / Tasks
This is not your typical purchasing position! This position is more focused on implementing changes by analyzing processes and data.
In this position your main task is to support the purchasing department by initiating and by carrying out specific projects in order to optimize processes and implement changes, that will guide the department into more structure to enable them to successfully fulfill their KPI’s.
You will work alongside the local Purchasing Managers and you report directly to the Head of Supply Chain Management of this Business Area (located in Germany).
You work within the 3 sites in The Netherlands but have your home-base at the location in Bakel where you will spend 80% of your time (largest team).
Therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with the right soft skills and the specific tool-kit to implement changes based upon solid analysis.
Your Profile / Qualifications
This is not your typical purchasing position, but has much focus on implementing changes by analyzing processes and data.
Therefore we are not looking for the typical purchasing profile, however you will need knowledge of (strategic) purchasing processes to understand and optimize these processes or implement improvements.
Besides that knowledge you will need strong analytical skills, project management- tools and experience and strong communications skills in order to be convincing, to create overall support and guide the discussion in a certain direction.
in addition a NEVI course or comparable is an advantage
5 years of relevant experience in a supply chain / procurement function in industrial environment
Proven leadership in (cross-functional) projects
Value analysis / value engineering experience
