Your responsibilities

As Senior Consumer Marketing Manager, you will drive the definition, development and introduction of products that bring ever-

more rewarding and enjoyable experiences to consumers by meeting their needs. Specifically in this role you will :

  • Define and craft the proposition roadmap based on deep consumer and market insights
  • Steer the integral product development (IPD) process from start to end, taking initial ideas through to product development and market introduction.
  • Prepare the launch of a new innovative propositions, working closely together with the commercial organizations across the globe ensuring a successful (omnichannel) product launch that fits with the local market needs
  • Driving results through cooperating globally with cross-functional teams throughout the full value chain (consumer research, Innovation & development, design, marketing communications, sales organizations, etc)
  • Help to extend the lifecycle of existing products by contributing with your marketing views and passion for the consumer.

    You will be part of the global Philips Floor Care team, within the Business Group Domestic Appliances. You will be working in a network of various stakeholders based in both the Netherlands (e.

    g., consumer marketing team, central communication team, market intelligence specialists) and in the countries (e.g., marketing specialists, key account managers).

    Your Profile

  • Master degree in BA, Marketing or related fields with excellent academic track record
  • At least 8 years of experience in an international business environment in the field of marketing / management of consumer products including life cycle management;
  • Experience with product development, product launches and digital marketing; Previous experience in downstream marketing, in market activation / launch would be a plus
  • Able to translate consumer insights into strong value propositions; Define product strategy & innovation roadmap
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with team virtually; with strong stakeholder management capability
  • Strong analytical skills and the passion to drive business growth. Combined with the ability to think creatively, Can Do mentality and act pragmatically
  • Ability to work in a fast growing and rapidly changing, competitive market context
  • Ability to think and plan end to end : see from concept creation all the way in the market to post-purchase experience and recommendation
  • Business fluency in English (written & verbal).
