forecast, budget and strategic plans; analysing actual financial performance and ensuring data quality is high; handling complex and ad-
hoc requests on the financial performance and turning this into actionable and easy to understand information; interacting with many people in the business;
you need to work together with our Financial Shared Services Centre, reporting specialists, sales / business partners and external accountants.
As a member of the Consumer Finance team, you are asked to deliver the following :
Highly accurate and complete (financial) information and analysis of all items within margin, including (but not limited to) volume, gross revenue, discounts, rebates and COGS;
Forecasting and planning support to business controllers throughout each planning cycle;
Understanding and ownership of functional processes with a desire to improve them;
Translation of business questions into structural data queries and reports;
Interrogate reports and financial models in order to question and query irregularities, both from a data quality and business standpoint.
2-5 years of experience in a financial role (analytical experience a must), preferably in an FMCG organisation;
Master's degree in Finance or Accounting is required (or professional equivalent);
Able to deliver high quality financial analysis and modelling in a clear and concise fashion;
Fluency in English (verbal and written) is critical;
Expert in Excel and PowerPoint;
Business / Commercial acumen and a willingness to engage with the business; this is a business facing role, not "back office number crunching";
Self-starter who cares about the quality of the work they do.
