In order to support its development, Abbott Diagnostics is recruiting a Technical SolutionsDESIGNSpecialist.
The Technical Solutions Design Specialist will :
Drive the sales effort for Abbott Diagnosticslaboratory solutions and relatedprofessionalservices to Retain and Sustain key existing account
Support the commercial team tomaximizecorediagnosticsbusiness bydrivingand supporting three key subject’s matters; workflow consulting,laboratory automation andinformatics systems to enhance and improve usage of installed lab operation.
Provideexpertknowledgeinall three subject matters and internaltrainingprograms
Work with the country commercial team toplan,prioritiesLab Performanceactivitiesand customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims
Maintainand develop existing customers though workflow consulting, IT utilization and analyser optimization
Use customer and prospect contactactivitiestools and systems and update relevantinformation heldin these systems
Respond to and follow up customer / sales team enquiresusingappropriate methods
Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings to developsalesopportunitiesandaidbusiness development
Provisionof technicalinformationand responses for the experience team; where appropriate to complete needed documentation
Liaise withimplementation team to ensure that ourlaboratory solutions are executed according to customer need and sales process
Provide postimplementation workflow consulting to ensure customer expectations and value propositions are delivered and recognized
Achievesconsistenthighlevel of customersatisfaction
THE PROFILE :
Educated to degree level or equivalent,ideallyin a science based or economics / businessstudiesrelateddisciplineand / orequivalentexperience.
Minimumof 2 years track recordinthediagnosticsindustrywithdemonstrated success
Fully conversantinconsultative selling techniques and methodologies
Ability to work / influenceacrossmultipleAbbottdivisions(ADD / AMD / APOC)
Collaborative enterprisethinking; willingto adapt to anddriveorganizationalchange
Thoughtleadership; ability to develop and maintain strong customerrelationships
Excellent interpersonal andinfluencing skills, willingness to workin cross functional teams
Ability to develop and champion newideas and approaches
