We are currently looking for a Head of Non-Trade Sourcing for Mediq BV. This role is located at our headquarters office in De Meern, the Netherlands.

Qualifications, experience and skills
The successful candidate has 10+ years’ experience in sourcing and procurement, with a particular emphasis on indirect ( non-
trade ) categories and compliance and governance processes, as well as experience working in an international, multi-business unit organization.
This candidate would additionally have minimum 3 years’ experience in managing a team of direct reports, and competency in working across business and financial functions to realize, measure, and track delivery of project goals.
A successful candidate has a good understanding of the dynamics in an international organization and is flexible enough to deal with this without losing track of the desired result.
Commercial acumen and analytical depth are essential skills for this role. As well as having both these attributes, a successful candidate will have strong decision-
making and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and be a highly efficient and effective project manager, capable of managing both their own work, and where specifically needed that of the team in setting the broader Non-Trade sourcing agenda.
A good candidate will be an excellent communicator, able to work extensively with business counterparts, as well as able to present structured analysis and recommendations to an EVP-
level audience where needed. This individual should be highly structured, but able to work at pace in a complex environment where it is necessary to deal with (and bring structure to) ambiguity.
You will directly lead a team of two specialized category buyers. As a group, you will be responsible for procurement for all Mediq Non-
Trade spend on projects / suppliers >
€50K annually, as well as governance and compliance reviews to ensure that where preferred supplier relationships or procurement processes are in place, these are effective.
Specifically, your team is focused on optimizing spend and procurement activities in four key areas :
In your role as Head of Non-Trade Sourcing, together with your team you will be responsible to set the annual Non-Trade sourcing agenda and, in cooperation with the business, to identify and deliver on specific savings opportunities as well as regular / recurring contract management for the installed vendor base.
In addition to leading the group, you will serve as the category lead for HR and Professional Services procurement projects.
You and your team are to lead and / or support procurement processes for these goods, including performing analysis to determine relevant spend, baseline, and outcome / result for Mediq, working together with Mediq Controlling for specific financial validation.
Finally, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing ongoing process improvements to make Mediq’s Non-Trade Sourcing activities more efficient, effective, and transparent.

As a member of the Central Sourcing MT team, with a high degree of senior management visibility, you will also have a voice in ensuring the organization is effective, successful and a great place to work.
