Manage all incoming requests for evaluation of Intralox equipment products
Fully understand and classify requests and define the right path moving forward
Handle standard applications / solutions until hand over to the proposals group
Transfer complex and industry specific requests to industry application engineers
Proactively communicate with requester and involved resources
Evaluate application feasibility and clarify important specification
Initiate and perform product testing to verify feasibility
Develop solution layouts (CAD or simulation) and application recommendations
Calculate budget pricing and prepare budget proposals for standard and custom equipment solutions.
Efficiently hand over project information to customer service group for proposal development
Support the solution proposal to the customers (end users and integrators)
Participate in kick-off meeting for orders as needed
Technical support for licensed customers, our sales force and the customer service group
Bring ideas to improve equipment technology and related business processes
Continuously improve interfaces to sales force and the internal support group.
Technical college / university degree in mechanical and / or electrical engineering
Minimum 3 years experience in B-2-B sales and engineering with preferably knowledge and experience within the food processing, packaging or material handling industries
Knowledge of, awareness of, conveyor equipment as used in food and non-food industries is preferable
Language skills : High level of spoken and written English; with Spanish and French as additional language skills
Experience in mechanical drawing / design work with 2-D. 3-D CAD design software skills beneficial
Team Player; Commercial affinity; customer oriented
Good questioning skills to understand needs and requirements
Proven capability of completing and documenting projects in an organized manner
Flexible and hands-on mentality when needed
Willingness to travel occasionally
