1. Job Purpose

Our Ecommerce Online Partner and Marketplace business is growing rapidly and this position is a key component of continuing that growth.

The Head of Sales POPP & Marketplace will be responsible for delivering the premium online partner program by driving the strategic direction and delivering on the pipeline requirements whilst bolstering the development of existing partners.

2. Position in the organisation

This position will report to the Ecommerce Director which sits within the DTC team.

3. Responsibilities

  • Develop the POPP and Marketplace strategy for our online partners and other third-party marketplaces with a full understanding of all the necessary supporting functions and roles, such as logistics, marketing, merchandising and IT integration.
  • Develop quarterly business goals and drive profitable platform growth across POPP and Marketplace partners
  • Key Account management of strategic accounts, ensuring we offer a premium level of service in all aspects of the relationship
  • Develop KPI’s along with the Business Control team to track and grow sales; provide daily and monthly sales data reports.
  • Utilize data analytic tools to develop insight and recommendations to sales and marketing leadership.
  • Work closely with the IT team and integration partners to optimise the onboarding process strategies with other initiatives to promote healthy growth of the business.
  • Work closely with the Trade Marketing team to ensure the partner is fully supported in driving the ASICS brand across their platform and consumer touchpoints
  • Monitor demand plan and inventory forecasting models with relevant merchandising teams
  • Manage and build the new business pipeline in line with the business requirements
  • Continually assess and explore other partner and marketplace opportunities
  • Knowledge and experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Sales or Marketing discipline
  • Extensive relevant work experience
  • Experience in working with Marketplace Customers
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical skills and retail math proficiency
  • Good knowledge of Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, IF, PIVOT) and PowerPoint
  • Affinity with fashion / sports
  • Familiar with the sports industry and ASICS products
