The team

We are a team of 8 geographically distributed team in Eindhoven, Berlin and Zürich. We are senior research engineers who work hard on balancing privacy and utility of the data.

We are developing cutting edge privacy preserving mechanisms for vehicles and pedestrian location data. As there isnt one-

fit-all solution, we are developing machine learned system that not only calibrates the best fitting model but also tests it with a set of privacy attack models.

This is pioneering innovation in the field and we talk both with internal business units and external partners and OEMs to test it on real cases and bring immediate business value.

Perform research on data privacy with focus on location-aware applications

Build proof-of-concept privacy preserving data publishing / Query answering / learning systemsDevelop mechanisms to enable privacy preserving data publishing, querying, analysis and learningDevelop scalable privacy-

aware data-driven systems on top of the above said mechanismsDesign and implement attack models against privacy preserving mechanismsConduct experiments to evaluate the performance of various approaches and publish / present results

Qualifications

you are working towards a Master or PhD degreeyou have solid mathematical backgroundyou are experienced in C++ or Pythonyou preferably have knowledge of geoinformatics and machine learning.
