The Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) team is on a mission to empower information producers with analytic tools, competencies and communities that deliver actionable insight to corporate decision makers.

The Enterprise Analytics team, within the Enterprise Business Intelligence (EBI) team, is responsible for enabling the business users with tools and technologies that help them with their information discovery and analysis, advanced analytics, data preparation and visualizations.

Your responsibilities

The Enterprise Analytics Manager leads a global team of BI evangelists enabling analytic excellence across the enterprise.

The main tasks are to bring the EBI self-service application portfolio to the users, in a controlled and professional way, to mature the BI visualization and reporting capabilities of our users and to facilitate BI Centers of Excellence, all with an eye toward business improvement and growing a successful information culture at NXP.

As Enterprise Analytics Manager you possess strong people / project / financial management skills, be an advocate for business-

relationship development, will maintain a thorough understanding of EBI strategy and programs, and meet three primary criteria :

  • Strategic Leader : provide leadership and mentoring to a global team of BI Evangelists developing and maintaining proficiency in customer-
  • facing BI technologies, including but not limited to Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, R’, SharePoint and Yammer. The Enterprise Analytics Manager will leverage these competencies to align EBI programs with information producers across the company, enabling their success.

  • People Leader : magnetism is key to this role. The Enterprise Analytics Manager will develop and nurture relationships with BI Sponsors across the enterprise, organizing his / her team to generate business value and enable analytic opportunity.
  • To do this, one must be an effective listener, a strong communicator, and empower others to follow a shared vision.

  • Thought Leader : the candidate must have passion and vision for Enterprise Business Intelligence, and an enthusiasm for enabling other’s success, promoting technology adoption, enabling analytic education, awareness and excellence.
  • He / she must be eager to learn and remain abreast of emerging BI trends while affecting strategic outcomes for IT.

    Your key areas of responsibility are :

  • Provide leadership to the global enablement team, with members in US, NL and TW;
  • Align usage and deployment of the EBI Analytic toolset with overall EBI and Enterprise Architecture guidelines and principles;
  • Maintain Vendor relation and license agreements for the EBI Analytic toolset;
  • Provide financial oversight of the EBI Analytic toolset;
  • Promote awareness of the EBI program, analytic opportunities and EBI support channels;
  • Drive EBI social media (Yammer) best practice / strategy;
  • Develop and promote the BI Empowerment Program targeting educational opportunities for BI Partners across the enterprise;
  • Work with the EBI program managers to ensure and enable effective marketing and communication at all levels;
  • Stay abreast of EBI strategy, industry trends and best practices in order to facilitate competency development across the corporation.
  • Your profile

  • At least a Bachelor degree;
  • Solid understanding of Enterprise Business Intelligence trends and best practices (5+ years);
  • Record of project management success leveraging stakeholders from across the enterprise;
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-learner and work effectively as a thought leader;
  • Strong collaborative and relationship-building skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results with a sense of urgency;
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines on a tight schedule;
  • Good work ethic and strong sense of responsibility & commitment;
  • A can-do attitude and strong focus on end-customer satisfaction;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills a good listener;
  • Willing to travel up to 30%.
