The Dow Chemical Company is looking for a Purchasing Leader - Regional Labor EMEAI to be located in Terneuzen, Netherlands.
The MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operations), Capital and EPC (MROCE) Purchasing Regional Labor Leader (RLL) for EMEAI is a role within Dow's Global MROCE Purchasing Team.
The RLL plays a critical role in the strategic engagement with MROCE Purchasing partners and stakeholders as well as in the development and execution of Dow’s Global Labor Sourcing Strategies.
Primary responsibilities :
This role requires a person with an extensive maintenance and engineering background. Additionally, manufacturing, project management, and commercial experience are highly valued.
Also, the RLL needs to have strong team leadership skills, a high level of interpersonal effectiveness, strong communication skills, supplier market focus, and knowledge of principles of supply strategy development, negotiation, contract technology, implementation, supply chain optimization, mergers and acquisitions, and supplier relationship management.
Preferred requirements :
The individual needs to have demonstrated a proven ability to work with and influence multiple functions and Business partners.
The individual must work and be comfortable working with little day to day management and must be able to develop strategy and make spot decisions.
