Business Process Analyst - Global Supply Chain

This position is responsible for coordinating activities and maintaining key processes regarding vendor maintenance (adds, edits, removes) and purchasing in EMEA region.

This role will coordinate with the teams (both in EMEA markets and in a Shared Services Center in Latin America) who are responsible for executing these processes

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Regional Process Owner for EMEA’s Vendor Maintenance and Purchasing Processes
  • Acts as primary point of contact with business users for these processes
  • Acts as the Regional Data Steward for Vendor Master Data (ERP System modules are SAP ECC and ESO)
  • Leads the cleansing of data in all existing Vendor Master files, to identify any duplicate vendors, incorrect information, or obsolete vendors
  • Maintains 100% compliance with Vendor Master Data and Purchasing SOPs
  • Coordinates with regional users to ensure proper processes are followed
  • Provides effective training on purchasing process and vendor setup process to users
  • Ensures processes and associated data comply with Audit and SOX requirements
  • Works closely with Global Process Owners and other key regional stakeholders to ensure that global standards are maintained
  • Regionalizes processes when required by regulatory or business requirement
  • Leads process improvement opportunities
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience within similar or larger sized company
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Purchasing, Vendor Master File Management, or Master Data Governance
  • Demonstrated mid-level or above proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, analyzing and manipulating large datasets through formulas and macros
  • SAP Experience, or experience with other relevant ERP system
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification (or equivalent), a plus
  • Other Knowledge, Skills and Capabilities

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong critical self-review skills.

  • Capable of handling fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Ability to organize and complete work-related projects in a timely manner
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure when given a task(s) that may require overtime to complete it
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player and deliver effective training.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability
  • Ability to evaluate data and assimilate into a working plan for improvement
