Surface Chemistry EMEIA is looking for an experienced Account Manager Lubes & Fuels to join our sales team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record in sales, account management, business development, and perhaps most importantly relationship building, who enjoys working autonomously to offer the highest levels of account management in the industrial oil and lubricant market.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager EMEIA Lubes & Fuels, this is a home-based role focusing on the European market where many of our global customers are head quartered.

For the right candidate there will be future development opportunities into more senior roles including Global Key Account Management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and ensure realization of sales for the assigned accounts
  • Identify and manage new business development opportunities to grow our business
  • Direct contact with customers in the field and be a credible discussion partner to the customers and potentials, representing Nouryon in a professional manner
  • Establish and build senior-level relationships with key decision makers and buyers
  • Understand and assess customers’ needs, business objectives, strategies and build compelling customer value propositions representing our portfolio
  • Serve as a lead contracts negotiator on commercial terms
  • Serve as the customer ambassador, trusted advisor and advocate into the Nouryon organization
  • Leverage the Nouryon organization and team(s) to serve customers in the best way possible
  • Serve as the central resource for communications with the customer on new product developments in the Nouryon portfolio
