We are looking to recruit an energetic Jr. Marketing Business Partner to support our Mercer / Marsh business in the Netherlands.
In this role you will ensure that the demand generation program is well defined, communicated and executed. You will work closely with sales and business leaders as well as other teams to implement and execute campaign-
based marketing in order to :
Drive accountable lifts in revenue (and marketing funnel optimization),
Expand our digital footprint.
Increase brand awareness and visibility
You will be part of the Mercer Marketing Team but your focus will be on driving and implementing the Marsh marketing agenda.
The ideal candidate should be an analytical, socially savvy individual who gets search engine optimization and has experience with social media.
The ideal candidate also has experience with driving, implementing and executing targeted, sales-enabling marketing campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
Help develop a marketing strategy for Mercer’s sister company MARSH in the Netherlands, creating a practical, hands-on go to market plan, mapping available and required resources (including marketing budget, people, tools and key stakeholder communities);
leveraging on knowledge, best practices and support from the Mercer marketing departement.
Ensure optimal marketing and sales alignment and work closely with the Marsh / Mercer Sales Leaders and take responsibility for the development and effective management of the MMB sales pipeline (a Mercer Marsh priority), and follow up on sales activity with client facing colleagues to increase the overall Marsh sales pipeline & activity
Create, implement and measure marketing campaigns required to generate sales leads in order to meet demand generation goals (e.
g. email marketing, events, social media, blogs, customer marketing etc.)
Collaborate with business leaders, Marketing Leader NE & team, local management team, sales and other relevant teams to leverage go-
to-market efforts to drive synergies and maximize marketing investments across the 2 OpCos
Drive digital marketing, implementing a solid Social Media Strategy (drive web optimization and conversion and create and implement targeted email-campaigns.)
Continually assess campaign and marketing program performance (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Media-monitoring, Marketo, social media analytics).
Optimize the use of marketing automation (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce).
Be a contributing force in furthering the marketing-collaboration / integration between Mercer and Marsh
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Strong business orientation with 2 years business experience in a marketing support role
Good project management and organisational skills
Comfortable juggling strategic direction and practical day-to-day tactics of getting things done
Proven track-record of developing and executing successful demand generation, marketing and branding programs
Demonstrated experience with the use of Marketo (or other Marketing automation tools) and salesforce
Experience with digital marketing
Strong oral and written communication proficiency in Dutch and English
Strong ability to prioritise workload
Self-starter with a positive attitude
Doer with high level of motivation
High attention to detail
Experience of working with Adobe In Design
Good IT skills - especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, CRM-systems and web publishing tools
This is a full time position located in Rotterdam, with regular travel to our office in Amstelveen, reporting to the Marketing Leader Northern Europe.
