Job Description

As a lead architect Digital, you will have the opportunity to lead and create the global Philips digital IT Architecture.

Our challenge is to

Transform Philips into a Digital company of the future.

You are responsible for

  • Close collaboration with various business partners, eco-partners, vendors and fellow architects to provide a holistic digital enterprise architecture;
  • Driving the overall context, concept and design of the Digital technology domain;
  • Develop points of view on various aspects of Digital technology implementation, including best practices and emerging technologies, acting as a Digital thought leader;
  • Defining and documenting the structure for Digital IT systems and components, their inter-relationships, and the principles / guidelines governing their design and evolution over time;
  • Coordinate all design and service creation activities within Digital Programs;
  • Develops together with Digital Business leaders, Digital IT strategies for assigned areas with a medium term 2-3 year sight line.
  • You are a part of :

    Philips IT; more specific of the Architecture and Emerging Technology team, which is a global team of 40+ highly skilled colleagues with whom you will collaborate to define and design a Digital Enterprise landscape of Philips.

    At the same time you will also be part of a Digital multiple disciplinary team with whom you will drive Digital programs on a daily basis

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University level Education (MSc, MEng);
  • 7+ years of experience in complex architectures in an international environment;
  • At least 5 years of experience in Digital architectures with a solid understanding of the technology market in areas such as Digital Experience Platforms, content management systems, Marketing, Automation, E-
  • commerce, cloud technologies and applications of emerging technologies in the market;
  • Solid understanding of Digital processes and End-to-End Customer Journeys;
  • Experience and skills to sell complex architectures to senior (C suite) stakeholders;
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ability to network and partner with a diverse set of stakeholders in an international setting;
  • Innovative and disruptive mindset with a passion for Digital;
  • Experience with Agile Project Management and agile methodologies and knowledge of DevOps.
