Key tasks & Responsibilities :

Execute the short term strategic direction of the IRM Service Line in the African region and parts of the North Sea, ensuring client satisfaction, sustainable revenue and profit growth, and successful application of innovative solutions :

Deliver the P&L of the IRM Service Line in the region

  • Responsible for sales management (prospect to tender) within the service line. Involved in key account planning for region;
  • selection of accounts, account manager assignment and account plan development, execution and review. Working closely with regional business development team.

    Responsible for project management (start-up to evaluation) for all projects performed within IRM service line. Involved in best practice definitions and implementations of innovative solutions.

    Responsible for collecting project receivables

    Ensure optimal deployment of people, locations and assets of the service line

    Drive professional and career development of people in the service line

    Organisational Parameters

    Reports to : Regional Business Line Director

    Coordinates with : Other Service Line Managers, Global Service Line Director, Marine Country Manager, Regional Business Development Manager, Manager Client Deliverables in country, Resources & Operations Support Manager in country

    Supervises : Service Line dedicated staff; commercial team, project managers, project teams


    Qualifications, competency & experience

    A minimum of 5 years of operational experience within the IRM field

    A minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within the offshore industry

    A university degree education (B.Sc. or higher)

    Business acumen with a broad understanding of business aspects (finance, operations, commercial)

    Excellent knowledge of English language (verbal and written)

    Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    Ability to travel internationally

    The ability to adapt and manage change, thriving in a dynamic, technological environment with an innovative drive

    Ability to translate hands-on knowledge in IRM into successfully shaping and managing a growing service line.
