citizenM is a hotel providing affordable luxury for the mobile citizens of the world. With style that'll knock your socks off, we offer citizens a real home from home, plus the world’s fluffiest pillows.

Our typical guest is a frequent traveler who is quality and design driven, and cost conscious.

We currently have hotels in Amsterdam, London, Glasgow, New York and Paris, with more to come in Europe the USA and Asia.

We are looking for a dynamic intern able to work individually with the 24 / 7 support team, taking care of technical / IT problems and who can support with workarounds as well as long term solutions for our guest and hotels.

what you will learn :

  • support our guests / hotels with technical questions / problems and assist the 24 / 7 support team closely to find solutions
  • monitor technology dashboard
  • work with our internal communication platform
  • handle reported technical problems and escalate them via email / phone
  • occasionally assist the 24 / 7 support team with various tasks, gaining experience in the overall guest journey
  • and most importantly, have fun while you’re at it!
  • what we require :

  • ability to handle multiple tasks
  • attention to detail
  • speak and write fluently in English and preferably one other language
  • self starter who shows initiative
  • passionate about hospitality
  • flexible, being able to work evenings or weekends if required
  • MBO / HBO student
  • internship for six months
  • the internship is based in citizenM Schiphol Airport Amsterdam, the Netherlands
