In this role you have the opportunity to

Build on the future of our Direct To Customer Channels with B2B (i.e. Philips Store, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Global Healthcare Exchange (GHX), etc.

Philips does have ambitious plans for these B2B channels, and especially Philips Store : we want to create relationships and direct sales with our customers.

The Philips store, EDI and relevant Direct to Customer touchpoints will give customers an excellent omni-channel experience, giving them the best content, assortment and service, easy ordering and innovative propositions & solutions.

As a Global Commercial Manager, B2B eCommerce for the Philips Store, you will support the local market strategy as well as global strategy and growth plans leveraging an omni-

channel approach regarding the Direct Channels in our Health Systems Business. You will be doing so based on a deep understanding of the customer needs (e.

g. from a product / solution need and price perspective) whilst gaining deep insights from an engagement perspective.

You are responsible for

  • Setting up and supporting customer focus groups & advisory boards for B2B Direct to Consumer Channels;
  • Working closely with our 17 markets globally in order to identify customer segments & personas as well as conducting interviews / user labs to identify their 'decision & experience journeys' across Omni channel footprint (Philips Store, EDI, GHX etc.
  • This will include driving the Go-to-market strategy enabled through our touchpoints (Philips Store, EDI / GHX);
  • Teaming-up with related initiatives & business models (for example : Telemedicine) to ensure synergies with the Philips Store and providing thereby consistent and holistic customer experience;
  • Working closely with enabling functions (Digital, Supply, CFC / Care, Pricing and IT - for EDI) to manage on the one hand the roadmap of deliverables against customer / market expectations and on the other driving customer requirements;
  • Working with market shop managers on building loyalty programs, rewards system etc.;
  • Supporting the Market e-commerce manager as well as Business Marketing Managers in Philips Store team during the Monthly Performance Management cycle, target setting etc.;
  • Coordinating overall deployments of Philips Store in markets, thereby acting as a spider-in-the-web for various deployment experts;
  • Leading change management efforts with markets to drive internal transformation and mindset - thereby working with country teams and HR on change stories, skill set gaps, job descriptions templates and KPI definition.
  • You are a part of

    As Global Commercial Manager, B2B eCommerce, you will be part of the Global Philips Online Store team - a group of dedicated professionals who are based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

    You will report into the Business Marketing Director B2B Philips Store / Direct Channels and have P & L responsibility. You will be collaborating closely with people from different cultural backgrounds, located all over the world.

    To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital or related field with excellent academic track record;
  • At least 7 years of international experience out of which at least 2 years of e-commerce / digital marketing experience -
  • preferably in a B2B and B2C setting;
  • Having a track record in HealthTech understanding health ecosystems and purchasing patterns / use-cases in hospital chains;
  • A proven track record in setting-up and running an online store / e-commerce concepts - combined with experience in building and implementing growth strategies;
  • Excellent conceptual thinking skills - combined with the ability to approach topics from both - the operational / tactical as well as the strategic angle;
  • Strong leader in being able to motivate people, increase our appetite for change and navigate in a large international organization.
  • An entrepreneurial and customer centric mindset will be strongly needed;
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills combined with the ability to convince internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work flexibly in a fast changing environment.
