This position, reporting to the Associate Manager, Primary Freight EU, will be responsible to manage and coordinate the daily deployment of primary freight shipments from Europlant manufacturing plant to SCJ Subsidiaries globally, Distribution Centers in EU as well as inbound shipments within EMEA.

This position requires a high level of operational excellence, building strong relationships with FG warehouse coordinators, Production Planners, Demand Planners, Supply Planners (both local and regional) TSPs and 4PL, as well as high process-

orientation and Lean mindset. The role will ensure safety, security and behavior compliance of primary freight carriers loading at Europlant.

The role is supported by the Global Trade Compliance team.



  • Responsible to lead daily deployment activities of Finished Goods shipments to European countries including daily meetings with production planners, shipment booking and shipment documentation issuing
  • Responsible to lead daily deployment of Finished Goods shipments to Export countries including daily meetings with production planners, shipment booking and shipment export documentation issuing
  • Responsible for leading the onsite relationship with TSPs to meet safety and behavior key performance indicators
  • Responsible to lead the relationship between SCJ’s 4PLS guaranteeing Europlant’s shipment operational flow and shipment execution in full compliance to all relevant SCJ and country legal standards regarding health and, safety, environmental, dangerous goods management, transport, GEN24 and import / export regulations.
  • Responsible for daily loading schedule as well as for assigning reference numbers and time slots for each shipment
  • Responsible for applying lean principles to solve day to day operational issues impacting the ability to distribute effectively
  • Responsible to set daily priority of outbound shipments in coordination with FG warehouse coordinators, Production Planners and Supply Planning
  • Work closely with Customer Supply Chain, Order Management, Supply Planning, Logistics, and external LSP’s to ensure that shipments are executed as per the shipping schedule.
  • Execute operations, root cause analysis and actions plans to meet regional KPIs targets and process optimization
  • Produce daily FG Transit Warehouse Dashboard, analyze data, identify and anticipate potential issues
  • Participate to weekly deployment meetings
  • Contribute to the efficiency of the total cost of ownership by securing that every transport is utilized to the fullest and best possible degree
  • Produce and analyze agreed weekly performance KPIs
  • Secure Service Level, Deliver regional transportation KPI’s

  • Position Requirements


  • Bachelor University degree in Logistics, Economics or Industrial Management Engineering
  • 2 years of Supply Chain experience
  • Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English
  • Able to speak and write in Dutch is a distinctive advantage and / or willing to learn Dutch.

  • Eager to learn and to work in a regional Team, building strong relationship with the on-site team as well as virtual relationship with the Planning hub.
