About the role
As the leader of European Pricing , you will be accountable for creating value and financial impact for our company. You will build and develop pricing capabilities to drive sustainable mid-
and long term NSV / case growth by creating best in class pricing practices that enable us to set, get and keep the price.
Your ability to combine a strategic business approach while managing multiple projects at any given time will be key, as will be your comfort in working seamlessly within the matrix, in particular with the Revenue Growth Management, Commercial and Consumer Marketing leadership teams as well as influencing and coaching a diverse team to develop and monitor new product pricing
You will define the 3 year European price strategy, modelling all potential scenarios to mitigate risk while harmonizing.
This plan should be approved by Exec Leadership Team (ELT) before initial YE conversations.
You will drive the regions’ annual growth in net revenue and gross profit per case through pricing practices (analysis, strategy and programs) that are fully embedded in the business planning process and become the global standard for Bacardi entities.
You will lead the European Pricing Committee (country GMs+ other Regional Directors).
You will work closely with the European Management to set minimum ad hoc Euro pricing for the on trade wholesaler channel and retailers.
You will establish pricing ladders and B1 pricing corridors (including corridors between ON and OFF).
In coordination with RGM responsibles you will build a price promotional investment optimization framework,including mechanics that delivers higher ROI.
This activity will include RSPs promotional coordination with GTR / EE teams.We should define where we have the opportunities and what plans to get this value.
You will work implementing profit pool initiatives.
You will work intensely with RGM, Commercial and Consumer Marketing organizations and the GTR team to SET and monitor pricing for NEW PRODUCTS, building with all of them very solid relationships.
You will coordinate A1 policies with International retailers.
You will work on better definition of our on line price strategy.
You will interact globally with Bacardi commercial organizations to refine Global Minimum Pricing.
You will work closely with Finance and IT to develop systems, lean processes and reporting that create transparency in our price planning and monitoringThis role is varied and while based in Amsterdam, a large percentage of your time will be interacting with the local market teams.
As a result, you can expect to be travelling extensively to stay connected to all stakeholders.

Embed our pricing practices in the Regions’ business planning process, providing the consistency and transparency required to develop, implement and track our pricing programs
Challenge the organization, ensuring our pricing strategies lead to continous improvement in NSV and GP per case, driving mid-
and long-term value creation ahead of expectations
Together with the Cluster Category teams and Cluster Commercial Leadership ensure adherence to global minimum pricing to support global price growth
Apply the global trade terms framework which drives trade spend transparency and optimization, and enables the commercialization of our Category Pricing strategies
Transform the European frontline price process
Expert on mix management with strong focus on premiumnization Develop talent and capability
Build a learning organization by creating a share, steal and reapply culture that systematically builds a regional base of best pricing practices.
Provide Category teams with the Pricing expertise and advice to enable an effective commercialization of category strategies and initiatives.
Work with the Customer and Consumer Marketing leadership teams and markets to build capabilities and sustained ways of working. Create a winning team
Build a sense of community across the Regional, Cluster and Country teams
Set an inspiring vision and align Regional teams behind challenging targets while creating a passion for winning

Measures of success
Performance : Achieve Total Net Sales Value (NSV) and Gross Profit growth targets vs. budget and NSV and GP per case target ahead of plan.
We should plan to have positive price performance in the next 5 years.

Critical experiences for success
To be successful in this role you will have / be :
Leadership role and experience in Customer Marketing, preferably Revenue Growth Managment
Experience in Commercial Finance Roles and sales-oriented analytical roles.
Deep understanding of customers’ P&Ls
Strong commercial skills gained through hands on commercial roles. Experience in top retailers face to face negotiation is needed
Experience in roles related to understanding customer and channel dynamics, especially customer margins
Experience in strategy leadership roles in an international environment
Strong management and negotiation skills gained through hands on line management experience
Degree in business administration or economics; MBA preferred
Strong influencing skills, able to build excellent relationships
Proficiency in English The following experience is preferred :
Experience in the spirits industry is a distinct advantage
