Through our Restructuring & Turnaround practice, A&M offers critical assistance to companies that are under-performing or experiencing a full-

blown liquidity crisis. Working directly with company management, A&M helps stabilise financial and operational performance by developing and implementing comprehensive profitability and working capital improvements.

Our involvement reassures creditors that the company is taking important steps to address its problems and maximise its value.

Our Turnaround and Restructuring practice has experienced unprecedented demand and therefore an opportunity exists for us to further strengthen the practice by recruiting experienced individuals at Associate level.

The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of financial and analytical accounting (ratio analysis) and will be experienced in building 13-

week cash flows or have strong Excel / PowerPoint skills. You will be confident presenting your own work to more senior members of the A&M team in addition to clients.

  • Applicants must also have;
  • Training at a Big 4 firm with experience within the Restructuring or Deals team.
  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (an MA or MBA degree is highly advantageous)
  • Fluency in Dutch is essential (other European languages are highly desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Objective, fact-based approach to problem solving
  • The successful candidate will also :

  • Have an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and uncertain environment with a high tolerance for ambiguity
  • Demonstrable ability to balance a high level view with detail
  • Quickly establish credibility at both Board and Operational management level
  • Have a natural ability to prioritise especially in highly pressurised situations
  • A&M has a defined culture and values set which is perpetuated by the critical capabilities and personal styles of those we seek to hire.

    Typically, successful appointees into the Turnaround and Restructuring team are action oriented self-starters with entrepreneurial flair.

    They are comfortable working independently in addition to working in high performing teams. They are hands-on and non-hierarchical operators who are equally effective in managing up and down and relate well at all levels and cultures.
