Job Summary As a Manager Engineers & Projects, you will lead our team of 4 Design Engineers who are responsible for the design of single use products for our Biopharma customers.
The team is located in our Tilburg office. On top of managing this dynamic ever growing team, you will manage single use and system projects and NON GMP production.
You will be responsible for the development of approval drawings and prototypes for the single-use systems business, this includes ensuring the assembly will meet the performance criteria required by the customer.
In this position, you will work closely with account managers, customer service, production and quality. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Manage, train and coach a team of design engineers.
Support commercial teams in driving the single use bag and systems portfolio. Manage Development both basic and more technical approval drawings based on sketches or descriptions from account managers or customers.
Lead projects for systems development Implement and maintain engineering key performance indicators (KPI) to ensure continued customer satisfaction and achievement of company goals.
Manage large NON GMP single use projects. Visit with end customers to develop single use solutions for their production.
Select appropriate subcomponents and ensuring all connections are engineered to function as required (i.e. temperature, pressure).
This may include developing test protocols and performing physical tests. Calculate sale price of Single Use products using software provided.
Conduct feasibility and cost estimation of products to ensure the design can meet business and customer needs. Maintain engineering documents including a library of all subcomponents with appropriate data.
Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely manner; notify management of problems and suggest corrective actions.
Understand and support company operating procedures to provide proper and effective service to all customers and foster the development of long term business relationships.
3 years leadership experience Experience in AutoCAD or similar engineering software (Solidworks, etc.) Experience in industrial automation Highly organized and good communication skills Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and suppliers Ability to grasp technical concepts and their application to customer’s processes Computer skills and good understanding of MS Office Ability to communicate verbally and written in English and Dutch.
