What will you do? As a Lead Commercial Strategist / Planner in the Commercial Operations team at Catawiki you are driven by Data & Analytics.

You are responsible for our Business Planning, Commercial Reporting landscape, ensuring our Commercial teams have access to relevant tools and processes to support our go-to-market planning, dashboards and reports which support our Commercial organisation in a soon-to-be multi billion euros organisation.

  • As such you will : Team management : Lead a team of two analysts, focused on data & reporting. Your team has a dotted line with the central Data team to ensure consistency and robustness of our reporting across Catawiki;
  • Business Planning : Own our company-wide business planning process end-to-end. This is a complex exercise which has a core planning element (defining the timelines, stakeholders needed, expectation of each meeting and overall process;
  • communicating and keeping all stakeholders updated and on track) as well as a key technical one (drive and coordinate the maintenance and continuous improvement by your team of 50+ planning sheets which support our -people strong Commercial teams in planning future forecasts).

    In a soon-to-be multi billion euro business, this role will become increasingly important as we growProgram management & reporting : Manage the short-term and mid / long-term priorities of the team.

    Short-term : own and manage our service desk for data requests for improving our existing reports and dashboards. Mid / long-term : establish joint cadence of collaboration with data analysts to drive long-term and highly impactful initiatives supporting our business growth and to structurally improve our data landscapeData training : Understand the data training needs of the Commercial organisation and orchestrate dedicated trainings strengthening the be geeky’ culture across our employee base, in collaboration with our Commercial Training Manager and with our AnalystsWork with a variety of technologies and tools - in particular Google sheets & Jira Who are you?

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics or other related field; Min 5 years relevant experience in process and project management within a complex, fast paced business unitYou have strong analytical skills, enabling you to understand business or processes challenges and translating these into specific analysis needs and performance measurementsYou have excellent communication skills (especially important when discussing planning process adjustments and sparring with business owners)You have excellent stakeholder management skills : you work equally comfortably with Leadership teams or others;
  • you know how to get teams who do not report to you to work with youYou love taking ownership and proactively driving partnerships with stakeholdersYou are able to identify strategic opportunities and translate these into business strategy, and ultimately into tactical executionYou have experience using Product / Project Management tools (e.

    g Jira) and processes (e.g sprint plannings)Bonus if you have hands-on experience with data analysis tools like Google spreadsheets or Google Data StudioYou are willing to get your hands dirty and deepdive the operational side of thingsYou have a structured and methodical way of working while being able to keep a helicopter viewAccurate and an eye for detailYou are hungry to work hard and play hard.
