SAP Basis consultant with knowledge on SAP HANA, S / 4 and SAP cloud infrastructure technology. In this role you will be tasked with delivering quality, customer focused SAP Basis services to global customers base where your duties may involve both a project delivery and support and maintenance activities according to rostered duties.
The candidate will work closely with the user community, IT colleagues and clients to determine appropriate solutions, owning the process of delivery from design to implementation and support tasks.
Technical coordination & collaboration amongst the team
Ensure successful delivery of larger engagements with high complexity based on best practices
Possess foundational working knowledge of general principles of SAP Technologies such as SAP HANA migration approaches, S / 4 Migrations and cloud vendor technologies
Database technology basic skills regarding non HANA system platforms (MS, Oracle & DB2)
Familiarity with the different policies, procedures and standards of ITIL and other methodologies.
Contribute to knowledge sharing within a community (e.g. team, practice, or project).
Re-uses existing Knowledge Management to accelerate solutions delivery
Act as liaison officer on all related customer concern within SAP domain.
Coordinate with the IT counterparts (both as customer and internal team) for all requests and incident related concerns
Keep track of SLA and ensure on time delivery, backlogs and ticket status and communicate to teams involved on the resolution
Perform system monitoring and address alerts notifications
Catch priority tickets with urgency and ensure escalation path is being followed
Contribute to Design Deliverables to ensure solution implemented is aligned to required project or support outcomes.
Able to learn quickly, and keep pace with rapid changes in the cloud space, including the introduction and deployment of new cloud platforms and tools.
Contribute on building documentations and best practices on SAP.
Obtain and maintain platform and SAP vendor certifications.
Desire to work in a technology consulting environment.
Assist team members in the implementation of technical solutions (Implementations, Upgrades and Migrations) and support with ongoing projects.
Providing BASIS support for projects involving HANA and S / 4HANA
What we need to see from you
Knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP Basis technologies
Configuring, monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting SAP environments
Technically fluent in
o Operating System (Unix / Windows / Linux), Database Oracle / DB2 / SQL Server / MaxDB ) administration
SAP Basis and Security Authentication Knowledge and Hands on experience on Technical Planning, Installations, Upgrades, OS / DB Migrations, Unicode Conversions, S / 4HANA
Knowledge / Experience in User Management, System copies, and Unicode Conversions
Experience with SAP NetWeaver Identity Provider for X.509 certificates, Kerberos and SAML 2.0
Be analytical, results-driven and have a solution oriented approach.
Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written, listening and presentation.
Prior experience involving client / customer interaction desired
Any experience in Fiori install and configuration desired
Strong preference for candidates with S / 4HANA experience
