At Avantor, we have strong onsite teams that support clients in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage and scientific research sectors, among others.

Currently, we are looking for a Lab Assistant to become part of our onsite team at one of our customers within the pharmaceutical industry in Leiden and Schiphol.

In this role, you provide direct benchtop services support at our customer facilities. You can work full time, as well as part time.

Your responsibilities

You complete routine laboratory support procedures and preparations ( e.g. media / buffer prep, solvent / reagent mixtures, )

You complete physical testings.

You maintain the lab inventory and you label goods. (e.g. chemical reagents and glassware)

You are responsible for the maintenance and verification of laboratory equipment. (e.g. balances, PH meters, pipets, glass washing)

You manage and prepare samples.

You manage general documentation.

Your profile

MBO 3 or 4 lab studies or you have experience with working in a lab.

You are fluent in Dutch or English spoken and written.

You have a proactive work approach, you are stress resistant, flexible and a good problem solver.

You are meticulous and critical.

Our offer

We offer you a 7-month contract that will be extended after a positive evaluation, 13th month and bonus plan.
