As our Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for managing and growing business value, transaction volume and profitability on a portfolio of our key accounts.
You do this by focusing on establishing strong partnerships, a great customer experience and making sure that you handle all aspects of the relationship with our partners and clients.
You will work within our dynamic and international Sales and Marketing team and be supported by our Product Management and R&D organization to service our partners’ business from an ongoing technical, operational, and business perspective.
Your mission is to grow our business and do it in collaboration with some of the most outstanding technology firms out there.
In order to achieve this, you will :
Develop, implement and improve our strategic sales roadmap
Identify transaction and growth opportunities for SMART Photonics at existing clients and partners.
Build strong partnerships and maintain excellent relations with our clients during their journey from first prototype to product introduction and commercial success.
Actively pursue deal optimizing strategies and opportunities.
Prepare and share strategic account planning and status updates for the allocated accounts with relevant KPIs to track progress.
Represent the organization at important industry events and participate in industry specific activities. (travel 10 20%)
Implement and execute effective sales campaigns to ensure maximum penetration of named accounts globally.
Offer understanding and knowledge about the challenges, opportunities and newest innovations in the Photonics market.
Finally you will need to have great internal stakeholder management skills, and not be afraid to challenge existing processes, suggest improvements or drive change by working closely with the relevant departments all around our business.
The ideal candidate is / has :
A Bachelor or Master degree in a technical field, preferably electronics or physics.
10+ years of experience in a technical account management or technical sales position focused on high-tech, production and / or manufacturing.
Proven track record of building relationships and using different sales channels
Experience in negotiating, writing sales contracts and large project proposals.
Experience in the technical area of Datacom / telecoms markets, sensing applications or chip manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
Strong teamwork orientation, oral and written communication skills with all levels within the company, with strong emphasis on the sales team.
