The challenging aspect of the role of VP Marketing at CLEVR is that the only constant factor is that the role is constantly changing.

As VP of marketing you introduce our new brand CLEVR successfully and innovatively in the B2B market. Our name CLEVR directly indicates what we stand for, but must be further loaded as a brand.

This requires creativity, but also substantive strategic knowledge, experience to build a strong international brand and an unparallel level of execution power.

We are scaling fast via a buy and build strategy and are launching in one to two new countries every year. Your expertise and advice will be requested in the market exploration phase.

This rapid growth and acquisitions means that you are in a continuously changing environment where you have to anticipate and organize quickly.

The VP Marketing is responsible for successfully integrating our acquisitions into the existing marketing approach from a marketing perspective.

While you are building your team, the composition and size of it changes continuously. Your challenge is to keep everyone motivated and engaged.

CLEVR is making the change from a consultancy-driven organization to SwaS (Software-with-a-Service). You as a marketer help us make this move.

By inspiring and effective communication towards our customers and colleagues you take them along in our new approach.

The VP marketing fulfills a key role and is crucial to our companies' success. You are part of our leadership team and report to our CEO.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

The broadest sense of marketing :

  • Marketing Strategy (incl. Marketing & Sales Intelligence)
  • Corporate Marketing (incl. Branding, PR & Communications, Design)
  • Product Marketing (Incl. PMC, Value Proposition, Sales Enablement)
  • Field Marketing (incl. Performance Based Marketing, Event Management)
  • Brand Strategy

  • Establishing a distinctive internationally brand strategy with clear brand guidelines for operational execution.
  • Monitor brilliant and consistent implementation of brand guidelines and strategy.
  • Marketing Strategy

  • Set a clear international B2B Marketing strategy and go to market strategy for scaling internationally which sets CLEVR up for success.
  • No country is the same and every country requires its own specific approach in positioning, campaigning, communication channels, storytelling, etc.
  • You ensure that it always fits in with CLEVR's marketing and brand strategy.

  • You take the lead on all strategic product marketing initiatives. You will work closely with our Services and Solutions teams which include Sales, Product Management, IT, and Customer Success.
  • Lead, mentor and inspire the Marketing team

  • Be who you needed when you were younger.
  • Build and guide the Marketing Team.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to the team so they can get the best out of themselves, grow as a professional and human being and do amazing work.
  • Translate the Marketing strategy into bite-sized projects and ensure brilliant execution.
  • About you

    You are incredibly excited about bringing your extensive Marketing experience to CLEVR and creating a fantastic customer experience for our customers worldwide.

    These are the skills and experiences we expect you to bring :

  • Experience in a similar role, where you have internationally scaled a tech organization.
  • Proven track record in B2B marketing in Tech.
  • Proven successful in online and performance-based marketing. You have a data-driven mindset and know your way around different platforms and systems.
  • Lead and demand generation and growth hacking have no secrets for you.

  • Track record of leading, mentoring and inspiring Marketing teams and managerial experience with strong negotiation and people skills.
  • Mind-blowing persuasion skills and the ability to get things done in a growing organization with tact and organizationally savviness.
  • Not only are you the voice of the customer, you are also the CLEVR spokesperson internally, and externally.

  • Strategic, positive and refreshing Marketing mindset, with an inexhaustible appetite for creating impact. Creative and an out-of-the-box thinker (not a type who comes up with the usual marketing solutions).
  • Experienced in Guerrilla Marketing, Field Marketing, PR, investor relations, developing unique events and marketing.

  • Unparalleled execution power with a drive to create a unique Marketing approach.
