Your challenge will be to help to innovate on both the SaaS proposition and platform side, by defining compelling solution and service propositions on the one hand and connecting to wider platform initiatives on the other hand.
You are responsible for :
Help establish an effective joint innovation program between Philips Research program activities and Business line’s product and innovation roadmaps.
Defining, driving and validating scalable and viable SaaS propositions and platform services across Philips domain platforms.
Bridging technology and business by bringing business savviness, product marketing and market insights into multi-disciplinary Research teams consisting of highly skilled technical experts.
Contribute to the vision and innovation strategy of the research innovation portfolio based on your deep understanding of customer needs, market forces and trends.
Engage in innovation portfolio discussions across businesses, markets, and functions and will share your insights, perspective and will ask for feedback and guidance
Create and maintain a lively network with product management peers and related functions in other Research departments and Businesses, to create a strong community for knowledge building and growing the product management function maturity with a focus on digital transformation.

The mission of the AI Data Science & Digital Twin department is to lead Philips into the Digital era through world-class innovations based on data science and physics-based modelling.
The department builds on several interconnected competencies including machine learning, statistics, probability models, pattern recognition, computer vision, big data management and multiphysics.
We use the advances in the aforementioned scientific disciplines, as well as new digital platforms to create innovation for Philips businesses.
The department plays a crucial role in digital and data intensive research projects using these competences.
The location of this position is the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Master's degree or MBA, preferably in Business, Marketing, Health Economics or Informatics with a minimum of 7 years working experience.
An excellent track record in product management or upstream marketing with an emphasis on digital (SaaS) healthcare solutions and services.
Proven ability to drive and manage large projects with a multitude of stakeholders and ability to engage with senior management.
Strong affinity with platform-based innovation in a clinical domain, or work experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
Experience in value proposition creation, evidence creation, business model development.
Experience in Agile product management and / or development.
Experience with driving an integral approach to solution innovation : system development (HW+ SW), data models, connectivity, interoperability and API’s, architectural platform development, customer experience along the lifecycle.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Ambition to create value for end customers.
Analytical skills, able to see through, create and keep oversight and take a well-structured approach on complex challenges.
Excellent stakeholder management skills and being able to develop relations and get buy-in beyond formal reporting lines
