The Global Digital Transformation Director will be part of the Data Driven Marketing Media Team, which is an internal jump team that will help embed data driven marketing capabilities across all 3 GBUs.

RB has set up global capability hubs across the US, Europe, LATAM, AMEA and SE Asia. These hubs will provide a variety of services, such as martech enablement, audience management, content adaption, analytics and consumer engagement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that these hubs are operating at full capacity, sharing of best practices between local teams and hubs, holding the hubs accountable to key tasks and deliverables.

They will also be required to design a future facing roadmap of hub capabilities which will include integrating new workstreams, functions and technology.

You will be expected to spend your time evenly between digital operations and working with key global / local stakeholders (Digital Factory Leads, Marketing Directors, GMs) to solve unique yet critical challenges that this new op-model is likely to create.

As you will be at the forefront of the transformation you will tasked to ensure we extract as much value out of the Op-model as possible (minimizing wastage in time and resources, maximizing effectiveness and revenue driving initiatives).

40% of their time will be dedicated to managing the European Hubs (UK and Poland), you will have a dotted line to the Area EVP to report progress and recommend solutions to problems that may occur in operations.

You will also be expected to provide thought leadership materials on both current issues and future facing changes in the marketing technology landscape that can be used across all GBUs to upskill the marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Data Driven Marketing Op-Model is fully functioning, identifying any technology gaps, correct level of talent in place both at global, hub and local market (RB and Agency Teams).
  • Constantly reviewing the operating model to develop business cases to eventually in-house key roles / functions that will accelerate the value generation across all 3 GBUs
  • Responsible for leading and influencing a forum of specialists across the 3BUs that will be critical to the success of the change management program we are initiating
  • Responsible for staying up-to-date with a high level understanding of latest platforms, technologies and data approaches in the industry
  • Work in conjunction with the digital ad operations team to oversee the management and delivery of technology and data governance.
  • Overcoming internal barriers through the use of a problem solving mindset, drive, determination and influencing skills.
  • You’ll have a natural ability to work in mixed teams of colleagues and senior executives and possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with high levels of enthusiasm.

  • Manage and lead the required collaboration internally & externally to deliver on the success KPI’s as defined in the DDMM strategy and vision
  • Qualifications

  • Self-motivated, highly flexible and can work effectively in ambiguous environments
  • 10+ years of relevant digital transformation roles at leading brand / agency, preferably global.
  • Relevant technical knowledge alongside strong project management abilities in order to oversee project teams.
  • Good analytical skills in order to develop effective strategies, determine project risks, and plan required product developments & or platform changes.
  • Relevant technology, architecting, or content platform work experience may be beneficial
  • Experienced leader with proven impact at C-suite level
  • T-shaped attitude of balancing left-brain organization and right-brain creativity
