We are looking for a knowledgeable and ambitious colleagueto strengthen us in the field of computational physics, and to develop highlychallenging Maxwell solvers for metrology applications.
You will be part of ayoung and dynamic group that hosts physical modelling as well as dataprocessing and machine learning competences.
Role and responsibilities
Within D&E Applications, the Algorithms and PhysicalModeling group covers the development of physical, optical and mathematical modelsand methods required to infer physical model parameters from opticalscatterometry data.
Relevant new metrics and algorithms as well as newmeasurement functions, with optimum performance characteristics, are identified,designed and implemented.
The availability and development of fast and accurateMaxwell solvers, and their optimal integration in the simulation framework, isessential.
The group secures the Applied Mathematics for Parameter Estimation ASML-Competency.
Focus on the Maxwell solver speed and accuracy is essential, combiningsolver-internal algorithmic development with application-specific approaches.
