You will be part of theGroup Control department and report to the Group Controller. You will support seniormanagement and local offices in tax issues.
Your primary focus will beoptimizing the VAT process within the European region, but you should have anopen mind to develop on and being exposed to other taxes as well.
1. Advising
Advise management and colleagues on a wide range of tax topics
Core activities :
Liaise with our external tax advisors and tax authorities;
Providing day to day advise and managing indirect tax for the European countries where Euro Pool Group is operating in;
Providing advice and content to senior Finance management and business units on fiscal topics and risk management;
Supporting together with our external advisors compliance with new legislation (SAF-T, CbCR, Pillar II).
2. Monitoring
Monitorthe progress of tax activities within the Group
Core activities :
Designing and maintaining Tax Control Frameworks for both VAT and CIT;
Critically assess VAT and VAT related processes and identify and implement internal control improvements;
Conducting VAT risk assessment in line with Euro Pool Group business VAT policy;
Carry out internal tax audits at subsidiaries.
3. Business SupportHelp the business by offering your expertise.
Core activities :
Coordinating and managing the Tax Compliance processes (VAT, CIT, TP) in the Group;
Initiating and driving the VAT automation within Euro Pool Group;
Supporting tax audits and communicate with local tax authorities;
Helping prepare the start-up of subsidiaries in new countries.

Knowledge & Skills
Bachelor and Master degree in Fiscal Economy
5-8 years experience in an in-house setting or large international tax advisory firm
Relevant knowledge of tax principles and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
SAP knowledge is advantage
Dutch language is advantage
