Job description

The main focus in this role is to get the webshop for the French market live based on the Dutch webshop's format. In that you will reinforce the brand in France.

Once live you will be responsible for optimizing the webshop's result. You will be operating in a team consisting of a UX Specialist, 2 Product Owners and a Functional IT Specialist.

In more detail your daily tasks will entail :

  • Optimizing the assortment for the local French market in cooperation with the purchasing department and by means of data driven assortment optimization;
  • Optimizing the conversion rate by aligning the e-commerce to the local French market in regard to :
  • Marketing content;
  • Product information;
  • Customer service;
  • User experience;
  • Onsite campaigns and communication.
  • Website performance optimization using performance measuring tools;
  • ROPO (Research Online, Purchase Offline) activation by means of campaigns and the local retail organisation;
  • Generating local traffic in cooperation with the Online Marketeer;
  • Delivering reports on results and converting that information into plans of improvement;
  • A / B testing together with UX Specialist in order to test the website's performance.

    Next to that you have :

  • A degree in Commercial Economics, E-Commerce, Marketing, Marketing Intelligence of Business Administration;
  • Business fluency in French and good understanding of Dutch (you will need to set up the French webshop based on the Dutch format, hence good understanding of Dutch is necessary);
  • Very good understanding of the French customer / retail market and culture;
  • Solid knowledge of e-commerce, online marketing and / or webshop management.
