Role Summary :

As Senior Designer you will be part of the team EMA pump seal Order Engineering. This team is responsible for all engineering activities of orders such as designing pump seals, engineering calculations and numerical analyses, trouble shooting and technical support to sales & operations.

As Senior Designer you will be asked to design mechanical seals to the most complex applications and customer equipment within orders.

Preferred Experience / Skills :

College degree in Mechanical Engineering. Bachelor’s degree preferred;

7+ years engineering experience, preferably in a seal or rotating equipment related industry;

Affinity with precision mechanical engineering;

Advanced analytical skills;

Verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch language skills are preferred;

Experienced with AutoCAD 2D and Solidworks 3D;

Customer contact experience;

Capable of working in a dynamic working environment;

Flexible and motivated;

Responsibilities & Requirements :

Generate customer and production drawings, and other technical documentation required to release order to production;

Conduct routine design analysis calculations using FLS FEA, and hand calculations for custom engineered seals;

Provide technical support and provide solutions to customers and other internal functions on seal design;
