Marel is looking for a Global Service Planner for location at Lichtenvoorde to play a central role in the order fulfilment process by performing the Service resource management to ensure that Service delivers on time.
The Global Service Planner facilitates the weekly Master Scheduling Planning process by providing the capacity bandwidth within the Service Teams and locations and participates in executing the results of the Master Scheduling plan.
The Global Service Planner is responsible for scheduling, re-scheduling, updating and communicating the field service activity schedule in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.
Close cooperation with relevant stakeholders like Project Management, Customer Support Management, Technical Support, FSE Planner and the FSE.
Close cooperation with Project Manager / Coordinator to ensure scheduling is in line with the delivery of equipment.
Close cooperation with Customer Support Coordinator to ensure scheduling is in line with the delivery of spare parts.
To reserve capacity for all field service activities, both pro-and re-active.
To schedule Service / Commissioning Engineers to fulfill the work orders that have been created in line with local laws, regulations and work-life balance.
To monitor the status / progress of the requests and act quickly upon changes.
Schedules Service / Commissioning Engineers according to work order requirements, location and severity
Work with Field Service Manager to ensure training needs, skills and skill level are up to date
Clever decision maker in fast pace environment
Good grammar and communication skills
Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Technical educational background and work experience is preferred
3+ years of experience with operations management and / or field service scheduling
Knowledge of Service Administration processes, preferably in a Sales or Service environment.
Electro basic knowledge is an advantage
Strong logistics and planning background.
Experience of using an ERP system preferred, ideally in combination with a service-scheduling application (ServiceMax preferred)
Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage
