As Senior Specialist Employee Communication you are part of thelocal HR team in Maastricht consisting out of 9 colleagues.

We are responsible forsupporting the Shared service center in all areas of the HR field, including;Communication & Engagement, Compensation & Benefits, Learning &Development, Talent Management, Recruitment & Employer Branding, Health,Safety & Wellbeing, Performance Management, HR Reporting & Analytics,HR Services etc.
Leading the employee communications strategy and roadmap topositively and accurately represent company's operations, values and brand toits employees in line with business needs, employee requirements, Groupguidelines and policies
Within the HR team we are looking for a Senior Specialist EmployeeCommunication who is full of energy and passion! In this role you report intothe HR Manager and we expect you to be responsible for a wide range of activitiesthat have direct impact on how our employees experience the company.
This iswhat you will do :
You will implement employeecommunications plans and processes to communicate effectively with employees intime and within budget
You will prepare business unitspecific communication plans and campaigns including topics, target groups,timings, channels, etc.
based on business relevant analysis
Support internal employeecommunication activities related to administration of the labor laws, laboragreements, internal regulations agreements, etc.
Implement an effective feedbacksystem along with various regular communications such as newsletters,magazines, etc.
Prepare and distribute material suchas newsletters, brochures, handbooks, conference and seminar materials, andbenefit and compensation communications through various forms includingtraditional print form, electronically, online technologies etc.
Prepare and review quality andcontent of employee related communications to be published in various materials
Implement communications plansincluding global campaigns to achieve maximum exposure and awareness of keyemployee messages related to organization's policies, programs and managementgoals
Maintain a continuous dialog withbusiness managers to identify relevant internal communication topics and adviseon the selection of media / formats and communication content
Recommend enhancements to existing internalcommunications formats and prepare designs for new target group specificcommunications formats
Impart expertise and advise atrelevant meetings for effective internal communications
Cooperate, negotiate with and manageexternal service providers such as agencies to implement communication plans
Identify,develop and implement appropriate process and quality standards in internalcommunications to enhance effectiveness and efficiency
You need to have a finished Master’s degree in Communications or equivalent.
We are looking for someone with 5+ years of experience leading employee communication in a complex, international, business environment
Someone with lots of positive energy, a drive to deliver and a willingness to learn and try new things.
This is a single contributor role, which means that you need to lead employee communications on your own under limited supervision and that you will work independently on all communication initiatives and programs solely.
Therefore you need to be pro-active and on top of your planning and admin.
We expect you to think ahead, plan and be creative, but also to develop materials and execute them.
Exceptional communications skills (verbal and written) are a precondition! Therefore, you need to feel confident in writing engaging pieces of content, but also dare to facilitate and present in front of groups.
Your English has to be excellent (fluent / native).
