Project Manager :
Cell Press is looking for a project manager for the Cell Press Product Team to support our strategic evolution as an all science publisher on cell.com.

Your responsibilities :
Project manage cell.com update requests, prioritizing needs, and communicating timelines; support communication between business and web content solutions team
Track volume of cell.com site update requests, working with Product Managers on accounting for bigger projects.
Coordinate homogenization and maintenance updates to cell.com; add tickets for overarching updates, update stakeholders of progress and work with editorial and production teams for gathering content as needed
Train Cell Press journal staff on requesting processes, working to increase understanding
Help create documentation for rules of the road for cell.com
Support documentation of content ownership of cell.com pages
Monitor incoming requests and ensure new pages follow web best practices, including appropriate metadata and analytic tagging
Help in developing and implementing site improvements across all Cell Press journals, working cross-departmentally
Monitor cell.com site health and finding places for improvements
Play a role in improving process and governance across a complex matrix organization
Ensure all new and updated cell.com initiatives align with Elsevier and Cell Press brand standards.
Learn the appropriate technology stack at a high level
Seek out data in partnership with others to support decisions

Minimum 1-3 years of professional experience
Prior project management, digital content, or publishing experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Ability to manage quickly changing digital / social landscape and adapt priorities appropriately
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and priorities.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
Familiarity with web platforms (Literatum) and agile methodologies preferred
