In this Role
As a Veterinarian Field Specialist, you will design, develop and implement marketing strategies to drive demand for the IDEXX Swine Diagnostics Line of Business by providing superior veterinary insight and leadership to relevant commercial functions within IDEXX and to our customers.
You will be responsible for working closely with EMEA Sales Team and other customer-facing organizations to define and execute marketing strategies.
This position will be part of the EMEA team and report directly to the Regional Sales Manager EMEA for Swine and Poultry.
You will establish and shape rationales and concepts to support key commercial projects related to veterinary medicine and Swine Health Management with a specific focus on educating our customers in the accurate use and best practices of IDEXX Diagnostics.
You will closely partner with the commercial team, by contributing to the development of marketing plans, customer analysis, and providing veterinary inputs, in developing plans and strategies focusing efforts on the right accounts to achieve sales targets.
You will organize, present, discuss portfolio solutions in veterinarian and Swine Health management workshops. Pro-actively identify and suggest medical insight and initiatives as it relates to key veterinary and Health management target groups.
You will provide On-Site and Online Training, Consulting, and Implementation Services.
You will establish and maintain a network of Key Opinion Leaders in the region in support of our business objectives. Attend selected veterinary and professional organization meetings and establish liaison relationships with key organizations to promote and enhance the IDEXX brand.

As the ideal candidate :
You have an intrinsic interest and passion for the agricultural and livestock industry and business.
You have 8-10 years of experience in the livestock industry, of which at least 3-4 years of relevant experience in the Swine Industry.
You have solid knowledge and understanding of clinical pathology, microbiology, and Swine Health Management.
You have a commercial mindset with an eye for marketing and business development opportunities.
You have excellent organizational, business, and communication skills, including analytical ability, project management, and facility in both one-to-one and group contexts.
You have an excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing, and speak at least one other European language.
Preferably German, Spanish or Russian.
You have experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, and a functional understanding of Commercial information Systems (Salesforce is preferred).
You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn and take and receive feedback constructively.
You have high ethical standards.
