Front-end developer / UX designer (Fulltime)

As a Front-end developer / UX designer you will be responsible for raising the bar. You will own and further develop the front end of all our European shops (6).

In this role you will be working as a part of a talented cross-functional marketing team and you will be closely working together with our external development agency (Emakina).

What will you do :

  • Manage Front End for all (6) webshops;
  • Further develop and optimize our platforms with your allround Front End and excellent JavaScript skills;
  • Creating interactive designs and wireframes;
  • Implementing and owning page designer;
  • Creating user journeys, designing for human computer interaction, creating responsive and mobile first designs;
  • Support A / B-testing andusability tests :
  • Design digital experiences that work in the broader customer context, and build bridges between digital and physical touchpoints;
  • The dynamic nature of our work means that your tasks can vary, sometimes day-to-day, and include workshop facilitation, preparation of documents and presentations and more;
  • Understanding industry and competitor experience benchmarks, and using these to inform your designs.
  • What will you bring :

  • At least an HBO (BA) level in the field Information technology ICT or a related study.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML5 and SCSS
  • Strong coding skills in JavaScript
  • Experience with frameworks, for instance; Vue,JS, AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.JS and also building the eco-system, testing and packaging.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills;
  • Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design;
  • Experience in working with Salesforce is a plus;
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies;
  • Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently;
  • Research and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.
