We arelooking for a self-motivated, deep skilled Agile coach to work closed with 2 ofour scrum Mobile development teams, help them with their agility to benefit thebusiness.
While the role is that of a senior scrum master, we would eventuallylike to see this person work as a change agent, not just for the team but alsohelp the organization achieve its Agility goals.
Agile experience :
Good knowledge ofAgile implementations variations like Scrum, Kanban, lean and identify whatsuits best for the team
Working knowledgeof implementing agile at various levels of maturity.
At least 5 years ofexperience in working in different agile projects
Working knowledgeof JIRA
Experience inworking in multiple teams facilitating scrum of scrums and its variations inteams
Help teams realizedependencies early in the day and resolve the same.
Coaching &Facilitating :
Has helped Identifythe training programs for the team members; coach and mentor team members todevelop agile capabilities, self-
organization etc.; explain benefits and scrumprinciples to the product owner and team where required.
Plan for capabilitydevelopment, identify training initiatives needed across multiple teams andorganize for the same
Good experience inhelping build a sustainable team focusing on high performing teams, needsaround soft skills.
Act as a mentorrather than a leader for the team for the current role
Vast experience inworking in different types and combination of scrum teams being technologyagnostic
Identifydysfunctions within the team and help resolve the same either by the team or bybringing it to the notification of leadership at the right time.
Change Agent :
Has been the changeagent for the team - to identify and implement positive changes in the team
Help build themorale and enthusiasm within the team
Identify the needto bring in scrum tools or practices to improve productivity and buildcollaboration; review process to ensure all scrum practices are being followed
Drive retrospectionat the end of each sprint; filter the learning for the next sprint; identifybest practices and guide teams under purview to implement them;
guide scrumteams to document the learning / outcome of retrospection notes
Identifyinterdependencies and how to handle the same
Day to Dayengagements with the teams :
Collate metrics totrack progress within the team and also if needed provide an overview to seniorstakeholders.
Effective scrumceremonies focus should be to make the teams self-sustaining for all scrumceremonies.
Resolve any issuesthat may arise; escalate critical issues to relevant stakeholders forresolution
Facilitate allinteractions that the team has with the Product Owner to gather and prioritizethe requirements; review documented requirements as shared by the Product Owner
Check the productbacklog to ensure all requirements are captured and weekly reviews on theproduct backlog are conducted;
conduct trainings for the Product Owner onformat and need to write user stories, maintaining the product backlog etc.
Understand theenvironment and dependencies which can impede the team; facilitate theconversations between the product owner and the team to clarify user stories,priorities and ensure that the team is able to determine the duration and designwithout any interference
Facilitate meetingsto ensure efficiency; protect the team from external influences
