As part of our product portfolio Marel offers a highly flexible and fully scalable production control software suite (Innova) that empowers our customers to efficiently control, monitor and improve every aspect of their production process, from live bird handling, up to the dispatching orders and QC processes.

The function

Marel’s philosophy is grafted onto growth from within its internal organisation, personal development and a professional induction and training period.

You will acquire active knowledge of the market, the internal organisation, the sales process and the techniques. You will also work with the Sales Engineering Department (Inside Sales Office) and by doing so will come into contact with all these facets.

The length of the induction and training period can vary and will depend amongst other things on your own development. At the end of this period as an Prospective Area Sales Manager you will be responsible for :

  • Implementing your commercial objectives within your own sales area
  • The sales strategy within your own sales area
  • Building up, managing and directing an international agent network
  • Working together with sales engineering and engineering to implement projects
  • Building further on today’s position of Marel Stork Poultry Processing BV
  • Contributing to the growth strategy and development of the organisation
  • Sales areas still have to be determined and will depend on wishes and ambitions
  • Welcoming customers to Boxmeer and taking part in national and international exhibitions
  • Requirements

  • Technical college or University education and ambition to sell
  • Not more than five years experience, preferably within technical sales
  • Experience of the food industry or a machinery factory is a plus
  • Focused on results, entrepreneurial and able to stand on your own two feet
  • Sensible and practical personality
  • Good command of at least two foreign languages
