The Manager - Fleet Management assists in the delivery of best-in-class fleet management and fleet finance to the TUI Group Airlines.
In a diverse and exciting role, the Manager - Fleet Management will support the group fleet planning activities to enable the cost effective usage of the group’s c.
150 aircraft assets, analysis of new aircraft programmes and support fleet wide projects relating to aircraft already in the fleet.
You will be joining the company at an exciting time being part of the Fleet Management and Fleet Finance team which is planning and executing the transition of the 737NG fleet to the new 737 MAX.
You will also be involved in the longer term fleet planning which includes the analysis of potential new aircraft programmes replacing the existing TUI fleet.
What you will be doing
As Manager - Fleet Management you will support the Senior Manager Fleet Management in the group fleet management activities that include :
Managing co-ordinated fleet planning and aviation asset management activities for the TUI Group airlines to ensure a cost effective usage of the group’s c.
150 aircraft assets fulfilling the requirements of the TUI Group airlines.
Managing the specification of the group’s ordered aircraft in close collaboration with the Fleet Management team, the TUI Group airlines, aircraft manufacturers and third party suppliers;
Advocate a common TUI group aircraft specification & configuration for new aircraft deliveries to ensure the commercial & operation desired outcome of the TUI group airlines is delivered in a way that does not diminish fleet wide flexibility;
Analysis of new aircraft programmes including aircraft performance and operating economics;
The support of fleet wide projects relating to the aircraft already in the fleet;
What we are looking for
Highly commercial and analytical individual;
Ability to think strategically and to translate highly complex scenarios into clear, concise and fact based decisions that can be effectively communicated to all stakeholders both internal and external;
Strong project manage skills and experience, with record of delivery to tight deadlines and dynamic criteria;
Airline background essential and a degree exposure to technical / operational aircraft fleet matters are strongly preferred;
Take an active role in the coordination with group airlines to collate fleet and aircraft configuration requirement;
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities to agreed timelines;
Self-motivated to get things done, take initiative and work flexibly;
Understanding of aircraft speciation and delivery process would be an advantage;
Ability to manage priorities and work to demanding timescales;
Excellent communication skills, both in speech and writing;
Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
