Job description

Your main accountabilities and responsibilities will be :

  • to be the Legal Business Partner of the Digital Technology and Analytics organization, the Real Estate organization and the R&D organization;
  • to be the Legal Business Partner of the Corporate Procurement team, working closely together with the Legal Director, PLI and the Legal Counsel, Procurement;
  • to be the Legal Counsel of one or more FrieslandCampina related start-ups;
  • drafting and reviewing a variety of contracts, with a focus on IT / ICT contracts, Procurement and R&D contracts;
  • co-develop and maintain contract templates that are used globally;
  • to be involved in the development interactive training programs and other creative (tech) solutions;
  • building and maintaining relationships with international business clients, Legal Counsels based across the globe and with external stakeholders such as law firms;
  • You will become part of FrieslandCampina’s Corporate Legal Department, consisting of approx. 30 Legal Professionals. FrieslandCampina’s Global Legal Team, which the Corporate Legal Department is part of, consists of approx.
  • 60 Legal Professionals, based in 14 countries, from Pakistan to Indonesia.

    What we expect from you

    In order to be successful in this position, we expect you to be a qualified lawyer (civil or common law), with excellent academic credentials.

    You have approximately four (4) to five (5) years of relevant experience with a focus on Information Technology law (IT contracting, IT outsourcing, IT procurement etc.

    gained in an internationally oriented law firm and / or as an in-house counsel, preferably in the FMCG industry. We expect you to be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
