That goes for businesses too. Whether it’s real-time analytics, connecting devices at the edge, or protecting apps and data your customers now widely prefer to consume the outcomes they want, when they want them, and pay only for what they consume.

Your role

As a Solution Acquisition Executive your role is to identify new opportunities for Consumption and Hybrid Cloud solutions within Enterprise customers.

Your focus will be to identify new customers for HPE with a good fit of our Hybrid Cloud solutions, engage with key executives and create qualified leads.

You engage local and regional experts to ensure the customers’ needs are understood, captured by the HPE team and translated to a fitting solution.

You will build excellent relationships with key decision makers at the customers and built your internal stakeholder map to ensure opportunities are well captured and customers understand the full value of HPE solutions.

You will support the bid team accordingly. You will differentiate HPE from the competition by strategically positioning HPE Consumption based IT Solutions.

By coordinating internal & external partners to deliver appropriate value add, you have a big impact on the success of HPE.

You establish relationships with customers at all organizational levels and you are able to interface with senior executive levels in internal and external groups.

Team work is key in HPE - you will be working with people at a country level, but also engaging in multinational teams. You will be leading engagement up to C-level, and facilitate workshops and other engagement with customers and partners.

Consumption-based IT :

  • Consumption-based IT offers the flexibility of cloud with the control, security, and reliability found in on-premises datacenters.
  • IT consumption models allow businesses to pay for IT resources and capacity when they need it, leading to a reduction or even elimination of capital expenses and other costs.
  • The ability to rapidly expand IT infrastructure resources means the IT department can say yes to more line of business requests.
  • HPE Services offers transformation and modernization services to enable the journey towards consumption-based IT.
  • How you’ll make your mark :

  • You build and manage an ongoing pipeline of opportunities
  • You build your knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position HPEs solutions better and collaborate with both internal and external / industry experts to anticipate future customer needs and facilitate solutions development.
  • You establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
  • You support the bid team to ensure a solid translation of customers’ needs into a fitting solution.
  • About you :

  • You are fluent in English & Dutch, both written and spoken.
  • A Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant study is required, as well as several years of experience in a Hunting / Acquisition sales role in the IT market, preferably for enterprise infrastructure, cloud or services.
  • You have experience in deal shaping service led opportunities in Enterprise Accounts and a proven track record of winning in this space.
  • You have significant relevant previous work experience and deep knowledge about our market in terms of solutions offerings and the competitive landscape.
  • You can translate solution knowledge into customer's added business value and you can use your specialist knowledge to actively prospect within accounts to discover or cultivate sales opportunities.
  • You identify yourself with words like bold, creative, independent, empathic, credible, hands-on, independent, collaborative and persistent
  • Industry knowledge in Manufacturing and FSI will be an asset.
