About the role

As Treasury & Accounting specialist you are responsible for a wide range of activities. You manage the handling of financial transactions and prepare financial statements.

You will work closely together with the Treasury Manager and the Corporate Controllers with regards to daily cash management and cash flow forecasting, making sure funds are available to meet all obligations and the financial administration of all the Corporate entities.

You review and verify the details of treasury transactions i.e. trades, transfers etc. and liaise with internal and external counterparts.

You will further have the following responsibilities :

Assist in monitoring and maintenance of static data in banks accounts, entities and provide treasury related activities;

Responsible for reconciliation and accounting for treasury and financial transactions for holding companies;

Maintain close contact with treasury front office and operating companies;

Take care of administrating and maintaining of bank account systems / users, the intercompany loan portfolio and the management of treasury management system;

Assist in month-end procedures regarding intercompany interest, IC invoices, loan balances and payment processes;

Manage external and internal funding accounting including interest calculations & payments;

Support and manage current account positions and guarantee portfolio process;

Responsible for financial administration of multiple holding entities including timely and accurate reporting;

Responsible for the accounts payable and the accounts receivable for corporate entities;

Process bank in the GL;

Pro-actively present your findings to relevant stakeholders including holding cost analysis and alignment;

Month, quarter & year-end financial administration and reporting & budgetting for holding entities;

The provisioning of timely transfer pricing documentation with countries (contracts and invoices).

You’re used to working independently as well as in a team and have strong technical, analytical and financial skills and are interested to help our corporate financial team further.

What background you need

You have a Bachelor and / or a Masters degree in the relevant field (Accounting, Finance or similar);

About 5 years of experience in a similar role and a solid background in accounting, preferably in a corporate setting;

Proven experience with back office activities around Treasury and cash management;

Experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliation in preparation for audit;

Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge and skills (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage);

You are fluent in English and preferably speak a second language;

You are based in the Netherlands;

You are a National of a European Union member State or have a valid work permit for the European Union and a travel permit.
