Purpose of the role
As our Sales Manager Nutrition you will be responsible to build out our business in the infant formula, functional foods and food supplements markets, by managing distributors and by serving selected nutrition accounts in EMEA.
budget, issues, accomplishments, and up-coming events (e.g., tenders, price negotiations, new product formulation development, etc.
Develop the sales forecast and support supply chain team to optimize the stock, and ensure stable supply Coordinate with Sales Support Nutrition to perform after-sales follow-up and monitor customer satisfaction Prospects : Develop new medium and small-sized Nutrition customers in the infant nutrition, food supplements and functional foods segments, following a plan co-developed with the management team.
Distributors : Drive and convert opportunities in collaboration with appointed distribution partners Collaborate with our Specialties Commercial Team where overlap or cross selling opportunities exi
today those projects are : Transforming Walter Rau Neuss into the Nutrition manufacturing hub in Europe Developing an infant oil offering as part of the broader organic initiative in EMEA
We are looking for a sales manager with a high level of customer focus. Someone who is able to think strategical and has the ability to integrate market insights, knowledge of asset capabilities, and understanding of the organization’s skills into execution plans to grow the business.
To be successful you need strong planning skills, so you can run multiple projects and / or initiatives at a time by driving alignment across stakeholders, creating plans for the work to be done and delegating work appropriately to balance own and team’s workload.
You can work with a sense of independence, while being able to communicate priorities clearly to Bunge Loders Croklaan Nutrition’s senior management team.
Next to this you have a curious mindset, aiming to understand the customers’ needs and to use these insights to create value for the customer.
Negotiation skills and the ability to present to the customers’ top and middle management are talents you bring to the table.
