Job Description

Our office in the Netherlands is looking to hire a talented Service Site Coordinator whose primary task is to lead, develop and manage a team of 8 highly skilled Service Engineers.

This is a site-based role in Delft, Netherlands

  • Provide technical assistance and support to service engineers, to ensure VMS PT service and maintenance activities generate the highest level of customer satisfaction
  • Instruct customers in operation and maintenance of VMS PT products, to ensure customers / users are self-sufficient in operating their equipment
  • Order / Support spare parts for assigned customers / sites including replenishing spare parts kits for warranty and contract customers.
  • Advise and assist customers in ordering spare parts or on service requests, to ensure customers can operate their VMS PT equipment according to technical and safety guidelines with the highest level of satisfaction
  • Collect data and assist with reporting of technical problems, actions taken, and parts employed to correct these problems, to ensure updated customer maintenance information is available to Field Office administrators for data
  • Assist in controlling time sheets, expense reports and field service reports of the local service staff, in order to ensure accurate company statistics on service activities can be constantly kept up to date
  • Plan the training requirements for the Service personnel to ensure all service engineers, within the assigned area, are trained and knowledgeable on the latest technical and product
  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, in order to permanently keep informed regarding all operating characteristics, design factors, technical performance and developments of VMS PT products and maintain own technical knowledge by performing hands on’ site work (PMI, Repairs, Installation etc.)
  • Coordinate and participate during emergency site service and maintenance interventions when required, to ensure customer VMS PT equipment can operate at all times in line with technical and safety guidelines
  • Develop and maintain excellent and professional partnership with our customer.
  • Job Requirements

  • Must be mature, tactful & Flexible
  • Fluency in the local language (Dutch) and in English, both written and spoken
  • Sound understanding of commercial terms
  • Articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication, Stakeholder management skills are paramount
  • Willing to travel occasionally (up to 20%)
  • Willing to work normal and unsociable hours (If required) to support customers & the team
  • Strong People management skills and / or supervisory skills, basic requirement (min. 5 years’ experience)
  • Ability to train, advise and counsel Service Engineers in technical matters
  • Understanding of Technical terms is essential
