We are looking for a colleague in the Corporate Compliance department of ING to support Management Information and reporting at a Bank level.
In this role you will work closely with compliance experts, business units and service centers. The role requires you to be in the lead for developing management information based on priorities set by the Management Team (MT) of Global Compliance.
You will be a liaison between compliance, business and IT and are able to translate business requirements into functional designs for accurate reporting and / or tooling.
Key result areas and responsibilities
You will help define Management Information reporting requirements as desired by the MT and in line with the Bank’s strategic priorities;
You will create a roadmap to develop the agreed management information reports;
In consultation with compliance experts, you will help develop comprehensive, simple and accurate reports reflecting; management insights and risk issues requiring management action;
Where necessary arrange resources with internal suppliers;
You will work with compliance experts and business units to ensure timely delivery of MI reports to the identified target groups;
You give and ask for feedback on the product based on which you enhance the quality of reporting;
You are able to simplify solutions and processes and tell the story clearly to various (international) stakeholders;
You stimulate (cross-border) interaction and alignment between people, local organization and central teams;
You contribute to the ING One Way of Working and safeguard the Orange Code;
You take the bigger picture into account and look beyond your direct responsibility.

The Strategic Transformation Office team (workstream Management Information) is part of the Corporate Compliance department (based in Amsterdam) (2nd Line of Defence);

You have least 5 years working experience in the Financial Services industry in analytical roles
Compliance experience especially in the areas of MiFiD, Financial Economic Crime, or Conduct is a plus;
You have the ability to translate regulatory requirements into functional designs and / or processes;
Experience / affinity with data, innovation and IT. Previous experience with Management reporting is a plus;
You are structured, disciplined approach with a focus on quality and delivery within time and budget;
You are able to maneuver between compliance, business and IT related activities by understanding content, needs and requirements and are able to translate this to reporting solutions / functional designs.
Strong analytical skills : able to understand complex matters quickly and being able to translate the insights into advice
Fluent speaking and writing skills in English
Able to build effective business partnering capabilities
Excellent communicator : explain complex matters in a simple and efficient way
Pro-active attitude and takes ownership of responsibilities
