Purpose of the position
The manager Customs & Trade Compliance Management International markets East is responsible for the organization of Customs & Trade Compliance in Israel, Russia / CIS and APAC region.
The position is part of the department Global Customs Compliance and Processes team, which is a subsection of the Global Logistics organization.
Overall objective is maintaining a compliant, fast and smooth Import / Export flow of the finished products, API and raw materials across the entire region.
You will provide governance for all Logistics Service Providers in the region who provide Customs brokerage services to Teva.
Key topics are Russia AEO implementation as well as the implementation of a simplified customs brokerage network throughout the region.
You will be responsible to manage and standardize Teva’s daily customs and compliance from origin to final customer. Besides topics like HS classifications, valuation and origin, FTA’s, sanctions, audits and others will fall under the responsibility of this role.
Within this position you report to the Sr. Director Global Customs, Compliance & Processes and work closely external and internal stakeholders including the transportation team, Global Compliance, Tax, Quality, Logistics Service Providers and Customs authorities.
International travel is about 15%.
