The CEO defines and drives execution of a sustainable business strategy that takes account of the evolving competitive and regulatory landscape for the UnaVista TRADEcho B.V. business.
The role is accountable for defining and agreeing a comprehensive 1-3 year Road map and Annual Business Plan with clear Performance Objectives to deliver the strategy.
Ensures the business is pursuing a sustainable business and commercial strategy that takes account of the evolving competitive and regulatory landscape.
Represents UnaVista TRADEcho B.V. in public to promote the firm and its service while fully leveraging the sales teams and senior management of the LSEG to increase the visibility of UnaVista.
Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers and regulatory authorities.
Work with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities, ensuring that all intra-company service and outsourcing arrangements are delivered in line with contractual / service and regulatory obligations.
Product Management :
Agree relative priorities for product development with the product team
Works with the Product and Pricing teams to ensure they are directed and able to evolve and manage the product / service offering, including pricing and commercial policies, to meet the business strategy, evolving customer needs and regulatory demands.
Governance & Regulatory Compliance
Accountable to the Chairman and Board of Directors, for :
Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards of conduct
Determining and ensuring execution of the business strategy
Financial performance of the business
Representing the business to customers, regulators and the public
Regulations, Conduct, Systems and Controls
Ensuring an open and constructive relationship between the UnaVista TRADEcho B.V. team (including appropriate outsourced functions) and the applicable regulatory authorities.
Accountable to ESMA, AFM are other relevant regulators for all relevant regulations and standards of conduct applicable to UnaVista TRADEcho B.V.
Ensuring the business and its employees meet all its regulatory obligations, follow all applicable policies and procedures (whether specific to UnaVista TRADEcho B.
V. or set by LSEG), and conduct themselves in an ethical manner consistent with the expectation of stakeholders, customers and relevant regulators.
Ensuring the business is appropriately organised and resourced to ensure on-going compliance with regulation and operational standards, including through the establishment of SLAs and performance targets for outsourced functions and by establishing a robust Systems and Controls framework.
Ensuring that systems and controls are established such that risks are identified and controlled in a manner consistent with the risk appetite of the stakeholders and expectations of the relevant regulators.
Ensuring that individuals accountable for critical functions are appropriately knowledgeable, skilled and supported to fulfil these responsibilities.
Definition of the business plan and budget
Tracking of performance vs budget and expectations, and reporting to stakeholders to facilitate performance evaluation and discussions of business strategy.
Reporting of financial situation and capital adequacy to stakeholder and ensuring Directors are sufficiently informed to fulfil their obligations.
Key Behaviors and Skills Required
Familiarity with financial markets and products e.g. Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, Commodities, and Equities.
Experience of leading a business or division and providing strategic direction.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and organizational skills to mobilize and motivate delivery in a co-operative and collaborative working environment
Ability to work independently and assume responsibility for project deliverables;
Good relationship skills in order to manage both internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities.
In depth knowledge of the regulatory landscape preferred eg ESMA AFM and EU regulatory developments.
