Lead a global / regionally organized and diverse team of senior manager and manager level finance professionals covering the entire SABIC Group financial, tax and treasury controllership oversight covering 100+ legal entities across the regions.

  • the safeguarding of SABIC regional assets and ensuring the preparation of accurate and complete consolidated financial reporting of SABIC Group
  • maintaining SABIC Group consolidated reporting full compliance with SABIC Accounting Standards and IFRS
  • managing the group / regional external auditor relationship and other outside advisors for SABIC Group
  • Global / Regional controllership oversight by monitoring, supporting and challenging the consolidation process, the regional Legal entity groups performance of all SBUs operations in the regions
  • co-leading all M&A related corporate finance financial assurance support (due diligence (divestitures and acquisitions), carve-
  • outs, historical financials and business plans)

  • networking with strategically leading individuals and functions providing financial information
  • Requirements

  • Senior leader and highly skilled financial accounting and process / controllerships subject matter expert reporting to the Global Controllership General Manager and supporting the Global Financial Reporting and Controllership Vice President.
  • Solves unique and complex technical, managerial, stakeholder problems that have a broad impact on the business in either the region or global.
  • Co-defines process improvements and implementation, actively aware of rapidly changing environment.
  • In addition, the ideal candidate has :

  • University degree, 15+ years of experience between Big 4 Audit firms or equivalent, Strategy / M&A leading advisory firms experience, Industry experience, professional qualifications (CPA) Professional qualification preferred
  • Relevant and proven experience in Executive Reporting best practice, strategic and M&A projects, governance frameworks, risk management and change management.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and networking skills, demonstrated success in dealing with functional / SBU leaders at the global level, able to build up network and exercise positive influence in the organization.
  • Business acumen
  • Strong people-management and training skills;
  • Ability to holistically address issues, while maintaining a focus on details
  • Conceptual thinking ability, with strive for simplification of complex issues
