Who We Are

Established in 1995 by founder and CEO Nick Jones, Soho House originated as a private members’ club for those in the film, media, and creative industries.

The group has gradually expanded to include Houses in the UK, US and Europe, as well as hotels, restaurants, cinemas, shared co-working spaces and spas.

Each House is designed for the city and neighbourhood it's in, but all share the same ethos, to create a comfortable home from home for a community of like-

minded creative people, wherever they are.

The Venue

Soho House Amsterdam is located in a 1930s building located on the Singel canal. The House features 79 bedrooms, a rooftop pool, the Members Club, a screening room, a gym and spa.

Cecconi’s restaurant is located on the ground floor.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active Member Events Intern to support our Member Events Manager.

Responsible to : Soho House Amsterdam Member Events Programming Manager ; Head of Events Europe; Soho House Amsterdam General Manager

You will be mainly busy with :

  • Assist the Member Events Manager in compiling member event information for next month’s calendar.
  • Upload member events details to Soho House’s online platform House Seven and maintain RSVPs and waitlists. Communicate with Club Reception regarding upcoming events and take the lead in ensuring members are up to date.
  • Assist the Manager in ensuring that member event information is entered into Function Sheets correctly
  • Assist with weekly DJ scheduling program
  • Assist Member Events Manager in organize, store, and update event contracts, invoices, receipts, and partner contact information
  • Manage hospitality and guest list information for talent and coordinate with club & reception team accordingly.
  • Coordinate and attend member events to ensure events run smoothly and obtain member feedback
  • Any other tasks as assigned by Manager
  • Requirements

    We are looking for you if you are :

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor studies (hospitality / marketing)
  • Excel skills
  • Must have flexible schedule including day shifts, evening shift, holidays, and weekends
  • Must have a healthy and active interest in outside cultural events
  • Proficient in InDesign is a plus
